Watch out world, my BIL has the Internet!

My brother-in-law is a shameless rogue! He's an absolute sweetheart but is such a flirt. Stephen has just gotten the Internet at his house and the funny emails are already flowing. And to make it even better, he types the same way he speaks...I can almost hear his voice as I read his emails.

I've only been able to meet Stephen once, but I know we'll have an...err..lively (yeah...lively, that's a safe word!) email relationship in the future.

July TBR challenge complete

Title: Hide In Plain Sight

Author: Michele Albert

Year published: 2006

Why did you get this book? It grabbed my attention at the library.

Do you like the cover? It was very eye catching.

Did you enjoy the book? I did. I was in the mood for this sort of romantic suspense. I love romantic thrillers that have a DaVinci Code feel and this reminded me favorably of Rachel Lee's Crimson Code.

Was the author new to you and would you read something by this author again?
Apparently this is third in a series...oops! So I'll be reading the others
Are you keeping it or passing it on? It is going back to the library but I'll get a copy of my own.

I'll try to add some more details later :)

How quickly time flies!

I haven't blogged in nearly a month--Ack!

What's new? Mark has been away for much of the month, in New York working on a huge project. He'll be home this Friday. It'll be nice to see him again LOL! I haven't minded the time away, since I've been keeping quite busy, but even so...it isn't the same around here without him!

Biiig family news. We'll be entertaining one of Mark's offspring this fall. David (eldest son) and his wife, Erin, are coming over to the States for a couple of weeks. We're all going on a trip together and will probably renew our wedding vows then.

It'll be absolutely brilliant to see David and Erin again!!!

The family comedy show!

Due to the wonders of the Internet, my DH and I currently chatting with my step-son (in London), my mother-in-law and my brother-in-law (In Australia) at the same time. This conference has been going on maybe fifteen minutes and we've been roaring with laughter at least ten of those minutes. It is great fun :)

I love this program we use to chat...it is called Skype and is really wonderful :) Mark speaks with both his sons every Saturday. One is in Australia and one is in England and of course, we're in America. For calls over the Internet it is totally free, and when you call from the Internet to people who have land line or mobile phones, the price is a fraction of a cent per minute.

What a fab way to start the weekend :)
