wow, I've been quiet!

Mark was actually after me to update my blog .

There's no real reason for me being quiet, outside of the fact that I'm working a lot and trying to expand myself a bit professionally. I'm also trying like the devil to be offline at a 'reasonable hour' every evening.

I'll try to post more often in April :)

Why did you get this book? I got an ARC of it at RT last year and it disappeared from my hotel room, Last month, I found it in electronic format at my library and picked it up then.

Do you like the cover? It is quite...um..blue...isn't it?

Did you enjoy the book? Overall, no.

Was the author new to you and would you read something by this author again?
No, I read her books quite a bit when she first released.

Are you keeping it or passing it on? The electronic copy has expired.

I really enjoyed the first quarter of the book, but it lost steam abruptly for me and it was a struggle to continue to complete it. It certainly wasn't Teresa Medeiros' best work.

Best laid plans

Mark will be away a LOT in the next 2 months...could be more than 50% of the time. I may accompany him on one trip, but with a sick laptop and all..it just isn't workable.

When he goes away, I always have such plans...I should learn better by now LOL. This time, it was to do spring cleaning, reorganize the spare bedroom, etc. He's been gone two DAYS and its all collapsed thanks to a mild flu.

I can see myself on the couch after working hours, cutting the TIVO down or actually reading for fun instead.

The spring cleaning will be there, and hey...we can do it together ;)
