Book gush
I hardly ever gush about books here, but I just had to share one I absolutely loved. It is called Dragon's Eye by James Hetley. It is a contemporary fantasy (I hesitate to call it urban fantasy) set in Maine. There are shape-shifters, witches, an ancient rivalry between families and some of the most complex relationships are handled with a deft touch that held me spellbound until 4 am. I never stay up late to read!
Here's a link to the author's web page. He has an excerpt posted there. I really hope you'll check his books out! I've only read Dragon's Eye but you can bet I'm on the lookout for his other books!
